The October 2025 No Kings protest is considered to be the largest nationwide protest in US history, with more than 7 million attendees in over 2,7000 locations. There were over 350,000 protesters in each of the five boroughs of New York, with the NYPD estimating that over 100,000 marched from Times Square on 47th Street to 14th Street in Manhattan.
These photos are from the Manhattan march. The atmosphere was convivial and positive. I felt that the NYPD and protest organizers did an excellent job preserving the peace and managing an overwhelmingly cooperative, peaceful crowd.
